**Job Title: Supply Planner (Capacity and Features)**

**Rate: Up to £31.00 ph Umbrella Company (inside IR35) OR £23.58 ph PAYE**

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:

- Analyse appropriate information and data in order to prepare schedules, plans and forecasts that meet business targets.
- Create capacity plans which meet business targets and optimize manufacturing efficiency and costs.
- Undertake appropriate calculations to estimate gaps in capacity to build requirements and draw up forecasts based on future plans for demand.
- Continually monitor changes in demand and supply, reconcile variances from original plans, and maintain a view of actual against forecast projections.
- Project manage across and within other functions the resolution of capacity constraints to meet unconstrained customer demand.
- Take ownership of managing constraints from identification to resolution with mínimal involvement from the management team (as required) supporting a specific carline / platform planner for constraints resolution.
- Coordinating data gathering to support capacity and volume planners for the capacity concerns raised Identifying the agenda items for each week’s review, issuing meeting notices and meeting minutes.
- As required, communicate the data to the supply base, coordinate and report the responses Keeping the master tracker up-to-date.
- Establish and maintain strong cross functional relationships that will ensure supply problems caused by a capacity shortfall in the supply base doesn’t impact production. Tracking the actions from meeting minutes for completion on time.
- Monitoring the issues from daily capacity concerns meeting and updating the database and metrics.
- Support End of Vehicle Line ‘Run Out Process’.
- Supporting the MP&L led process by issuing relevant communications to the supply base & purchasing team / Supporting the supplier events and internal run out meetings.
- Take part in Supply Chain working group and formal governance meetings.
- Discuss impact of constrained supply plans and revise (labor, inventory, materials).
- Highlight potential risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs (e.g., customer satisfaction).
- Escalate to Supply Chain Leadership as needed.
- With the Supply Chain team: Define lead time and service level targets and tracks adherence to the same. Aggregates information from plants, identify key supply issues and identify root causes for variances, gaps and constraints and follow up.
- Identify key areas to be discussed during all relevant Sales and Operations meetings (S&OE 03 months + S&OP + 4-18 months).
- Together with Finance: Monetarize favourable / unfavourable volume variance from production plan versus financial budget.
- Monetarize changes of the most recent “plan” versus the budget/ financial volume forecast and discuss relevant variances.
- Consult with operations on impact and recovery activities.
- Identify and analyze supply alternatives (workload balancing) and associated financial implications.
- Gain understanding of impact of variances on production schedules and financials.
- Develop and use scenarios to evaluate trade-offs.
- Prepare material to present at Supply review to support decision-making.
- Prepare and facilitate the Sales and Operations meetings (S&OE 03 months + S&OP + 4-18 months).
- Discuss impact of constrained supply plan and revise (labor, inventory, material parts), highlight potential risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs (e.g., customer satisfaction, financial impact, etc.), pull and review metrics.
- Sign off production plan with Operations, Commercial, plants.
- Identify topics to be escalated to Exec Sales and Operations (S&OE + S&OP).
- Prepare/present demand/supply scenarios and trade-offs and identify key decisions to be made during the Exec S&OP meeting.
- Prepare material for Exec S&OP and distribute to participants.
- Schedule and facilitate meeting.
- Summarize key scenarios and financial implications together with Finance.
- Implement Exec S&OP decision.
- Reporting the metrics to communicate status update on regular basis.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Degree in Maths, Statistics, Engineering or Supply Chain qualification, with or without extensive experience in demand and supply planning activities across multiple operational units, S&OP and Exec S&OP process execution.
- Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyse, interpret and manage information, data and trends.
- Strong analytical skills: able to evaluate, model and prioritise constraints and develop options to resolve them.
