Are you passionate about caring for young people? Have you got experience working with children with Special educational needs? Are you a NQT looking to broaden your experiences?
Teaching Personnel work alongside a Local Authority who are currently looking for an experienced SEN TA who can support a tutor in tutoring a student. The student is in Year 7, with various SEN and SEMH needs as well as in the process of toilet trainingso staff would need to be comfortable with an element of personal care.
- Work effectively as part of a team within the family home ensuring the children are looked after and learning from the content delivered
- Experience supporting children with autism and/or associated learning difficulties
- Understand the social, emotional, and academic needs of those with ASD
- Commitment to the building and maintaining positive relationships
- A warm and friendly positive approach in the classroom
- Be caring, patient and understanding

This role may suit someone from a health and social care background as well as those with experience of challenging behaviour settings, psychology graduates, 1:1 support, sports coaches and mentoring backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
