Personal Care Worker

**Job Overview**
As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalised support to individuals in need of assistance. This position involves working with a diverse range of clients, including seniors and those with specific care needs such as dementia. Your primary goal will be to enhance the quality of life for your clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in both home care and assisted living environments.
**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies for clients with challenging behaviours, ensuring their dignity is maintained.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring safe transportation.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and physical well-being.
**Skills**
- Ability to manage behaviours effectively while maintaining a calm and supportive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with clients, families,
- A caring nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of those you support.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.
- Experience in childcare or nursing can be beneficial but is not essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 4 per week
