**Playground Installer**

Knightwood are currently recruiting for an experienced Playground Installer for a client based out of their yard in Watford, working around the Herts, Beds, Bucks and London area.

**Main Duties**:

- Carrying out the work to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely manner.
- Carrying out the installation of safety surfacing, such as rubber mulch and wetpour to a very high quality
- Carrying out the installation of outdoor play equipment, ramps, MUGA’s, fitness equipment, and associated landscaping.
- Complying with all on site health and safety and quality checks.
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs to outdoor play equipment, ramps, MUGA’s, fitness equipment, safety surfacing and associated landscaping.
- The use of hand or power tools.
- Provide excellent customer service with current and potential clients.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid clean driver’s license is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of playground equipment and installation requirements (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with installing MUGA’s and ramps (preferred but not essential).
- Experience of installation of safety surfacing, preferred but not essential (grass mats, bonded rubber mulch, loose fill and wet pour).
- A CSCS card is required.
- Competency in operating small excavators, dumpers and powered hand tools is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Ability to work in a team setting.

The job involve a lot of physical work such as lifting heavy materials, digging and handling materials so would need someone who is happy with this kind of work.

**Salary: £35k - £40k dependent on experience**
