Owen Mumford are looking to hire a Head of Strategic Marketing, could this be your next role?

**Scope**:
The Head of Strategic Marketing takes overall responsibility for the commercial input to new development products and life cycle management for OMPS, and for the communication of the benefits of the existing and new products in the OMPS range. Also serves as a member of the OMPS Leadership Team, and a key contributor to overall corporate communications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic marketing leadership for _Pharmaceutical Services_ products (including devices and service products).
- Develop and maintain marketing plans for all products including those in development and on-market (including legacy devices). Ensure they are developed in a timely manner, clearly articulated & adopting a consistent format across all products, supported by referenced evidence wherever possible
- Provide commercial leadership in launch planning.
- Ensure the Product Development Manager and other commercial stakeholders fully understand applicable plans and their ramifications.
- Through the communications manager, deliver core product materials and other marketing communications necessary to support and maximise sales activities.
- Develop and implement best practice.
- Generate proposals for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and collaborate in the planning process.
- Identify, define, communicate and champion the customer need in a way that enables stakeholders to understand the market opportunity and maximises the chance for R&D to generate relevant innovative solutions
- Liaise with peers across the business to ensure potential opportunities for the wider business are considered and maximised. Be the _Pharmaceutical Services_ link with technical teams supporting them where appropriate in sub-contracted developments.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Strategic product marketing experience
- Experience within design and development process for regulated devices
- Experience working internationally
- Working with devices in pharmaceutical company or selling bespoke devices into such an organisation
- Self-administered medical devices with experience in self-injection and associated primary containers
- Educated to degree level in a technical or commercial discipline
