Are you a passionate Yard Manager, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Yard Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Castle Donington.
- Reporting to the Director & General Manager Seating & Stadia
- Management of yard operations, ensuring the delivery - within budget and within schedule - of the equipment provided for in the Company's contracts.
- Recruit, induct and train personnel.

Principle Responsibilities for the Yard Manager:

- Scheduling of labour
- Management of yard operatives
- Ensuring all loads are picked correctly for despatch
- Ensure all returned stock is recorded correctly
- Production of load lists
- Ensuring the yard is organised and stock held in correct locations at all times
- Raising of purchase orders and adherence to budget constraints
- Production of weekly timesheets
- Maintain yard plant and conduct daily inspections
- Organise the logistics to despatch stock to site
- Maintain training logs
- Management reports
- Annual stock takes
- Adherence to HR policies
- Adherence to H & S policies
- Ensure first class customer service through the whole process

Person specification:

- Proven work experience in a similar role
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of stock software (All Hire knowledge would be advantageous)
- Good IT skills/Excel/Word
- Able to work to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Management experience
- FLT licence
- Shunter licence

This is a full time permanent Yard Manager position, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 offering an annual salary of £27,000 - £30,000 plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all companyproducts and free car parking.
