- about 1 month agoWe are recruiting for a Mental Health service provider as a Support Worker. The service provides a high standard of care and support for adults in a Supported Living setting in Worthing, West Sussex.

- **£12.00 per hour + benefits package.**:

- **Permanent, full-time hours available, 35-hours per week.**:

- **Day Shifts, Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm, Saturday & Sunday 9:30am - 2pm.**:

- **Alternate weekends.**:

- **Waking night shifts also available from 10pm - 9:30am.**

**The Provider**
We are recruiting on behalf of a new service in the area supporting adults aged between 18 - 65 in their own homes. They provide a high standard of accommodation for adults living with mental health conditions and multiple needs. They see the person, not the disability, and they do all the things that help individuals to live their lives to the full.
As a Support Worker, you will be like a friend or companion to the person you support. You will build a relationship with the person you are supporting, help them with daily life skills, help with domestic duties, help to do activities that they enjoy, and ensure their safety and welfare. There is no personal care involved in the role, but there can be challenging behaviour around self-harm.

**Criteria**
- The most important criteria are having a strong, resilient personality.
- Previous experience working in Mental Health/Learning Disabilities/Complex Needs/Substance Abuse sectors is desired, but not essential.
- Hours available for drivers & non-drivers.
