Reach Education are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a Secondary SEMH provision in the Sheffield area, the job involves working 1:1 with students and providing academic and emotional support where required. The school offers education to children and young people aged 11 - 16yrs who have experienced difficulties within the mainstream setting. The young people can demonstrate challenging behaviour as well a spectrum of other needs such as ASC, attachment disordersand ADHD. Their small class sized of between 3-5 pupils allows them to ensure each student receives individual support as well as full classroom learning. To be considered for this SEMH Teaching Assistant position, you must have the following: - Experience of working with SEMH, ASC, Attachment Disorders - Experience within education or with vulnerable young people - An Enhanced DBS certificate - Driven and caring personality - The ability to succeed in a challenging environment, be flexible, patient and have a positive approach. **About Reach Education**: **Other benefits include**: Temp-to-perm - Like the school you’re working at?
