**Job overview**:
Be a member of a theatre team, providing support and assistance to professionally qualified staff and other team members. Responsibilities will include participating in patient care, equipment care, infection control, ancillary and clerical duties.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for flexible, highly motivated and caring theatre support worker to join our busy Operating Theatre Department. In line with Trust Policy, we support various, flexible working options, where they can be sustained without being detrimental to our service provision.

The department has 8 operating suites, two of which are laminar flow and two are dedicated to Ophthalmology.

Essential requirements:

- Good standard of education
- Willingness to undertake training as required for the post
- Good communication skills: Verbal, Written, Electronic
- Enthusiastic, Motivated, Reliable
