**Technical Software Sale Consultant | 37-50k | Isle of Wight**

Our client is devoted to making the world a greener place by providing advanced and sustainable technologies and services in the areas of measurement, control, and information to customers across a broad range of industries. This particular division is aspecialist software solutions company designing and delivering software solutions and have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and passionate Sales Consultant with a strong technical background in software solutions for the process industry. Do you havean international outlook, desire to travel, and want to be part of an entrepreneurial team of specialists who provide outstanding pre-sales technical support to global frontline sales operations?

**Responsibilities of the Technical Software Sales Consultant**:

- Supporting global offices with Sales initiatives for all accounts, while presenting new solutions for customers across the process industries (predominately upstream/midstream oil and gas, refining, petrochemical and bulk chemical).
- Evaluating client needs, developing proposals and value propositions; research new technologies and create solutions; and provide input for future product development requirements.
- Engage with end-users providing product presentations and demonstrations, as well as visiting customer sites to support the sales team.
- Being the driving force for future product development requirements and keeping up to date on the market’s future directions.
- Creating new promotional materials, demos and prototypes.

**Requirements of the Technical Software Sales Consultant**:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
- Experience working within the process industry, DCS, PLC, SCADA, or PIMS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Competent in Process Information Management System solutions.
- Proven track record in management and delivery of prospective client expectations.
- Industry experience in analysis of RFI and RFQ and preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personality types and to work with minimum supervision.
- Availability for international travel, sometimes at short notice
