**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team at Meldrum Group. In this role, you will be essential in executing groundwork tasks that lay the foundation for successful construction projects. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality construction services.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform groundwork tasks including digging, trenching, and site preparation.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in the installation of utilities and drainage systems.
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: From £16.51 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Additional pay:
