C&A Construction & Maintenance are a North East company specializing in the reactive maintenance and refurbishment of properties, both domestic & commercial. We operate throughout the North of England, from South Yorkshire to the Scottish Borders, and offer a 24 hour call-out service with our head office based in Co.Durham, with our headquarters in Crook.

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker and/or Laborer with a sound knowledge of other building trades to assist with various small works projects in northern England.

trades we would like covered are brickwork plastering tilling some basic plumbing.

Working hours generally include Monday-Friday 0800-1630, there will be an opportunity for overtime on occasions and all employees are required to join the call-out rota for out of hours emergency jobs every few weeks for which overtime rates and call out payment applies; must also be prepared to work outside of normal hours when required.

- Must hold a valid driving licence with no more than 3 points (essential).
