AM shift: Monday to Friday 6am-3pm

PM shift: Tue to Fri : 3pm-11pm, Sat 9am-5pm ( premium pay rate on Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

To effectively manage the line/your area and its production to ensure KPI’s targets are met.

To ensure your line/area is fully set up and operational at the start of the shift before Production Operatives arrive for the start of their shift

To liaise with relevant Internal Departments to ensure the products are produced in accordance with the Works Orders

To ensure products are produced in compliance with customer specifications.

Ensure appraisals and reviews are carried out with staff with support of Training Officer

Continually look to develop staff and to ensure that staff are fully utilising their skills

Develop and review good working practices and Standard Operating Procedures

Ensure compliance with the Company's Equal Opportunity Policy at all times

To coach and develop staff to improve individual and section performance

To ensure the appropriate delegation of tasks within the section

To ensure that the staffing levels are as required and that resource is effectively utilised

To actively promote a customer focussed environment

To remain fair and respectful to all staff

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you should ideally possess:
Previous Experience: Prior experience working in the food industry, particularly in poultry, would be highly advantageous.
Mechanical Aptitude: A keen interest in machinery operations, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring adherence to quality standards and precise measurements.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Adaptability: The flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn new processes.
