**Job Summary**
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Operations Assistant is responsible for the smooth and effective running of the ventilation cleaning teams ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Company policies and standards.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Overall responsibility for day to day operations of all cleans together with the Operations Manager.
- Full responsibility for the weekly allocation of tools/equipment/stock/materials to all jobs.
- Operative training & record keeping
- Site audits
- Site surveys
- Stock & asset management
- Warehouse management & organisation (stock take & stock assortment)
- Customer relationship & account management.
- Out of hours contact for Operatives for emergencies.
- Some out of hours work involved for carrying out training and audits.
**Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Technical experience and knowledge of extract ventilation systems.
- Leadership qualities, ability to motivate teams of people with varying abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Well organised and capable of meeting deadlines.

- Resourceful and able to think clearly under pressure.
- Self-motivated, takes the initiative and is able to work autonomously.
- Willing to take responsibility.
- Team player.
- Consistently applies critical thinking to identify, analyse and resolve problems.
- Experience and comfort with quality control and continuous improvement concepts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MS Office skills required.

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
