About the Role

Exciting opportunity in **Doncaster **with **Securitas** We're in search of a dynamic **Security Support Officers to join our team on a Fixed-Term Contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. With 1 year of security experience, this role involves working Monday to Friday from 08:30- 16:30, with the flexibility of occasional weekends, totalling 42.5 hours per week.**

Job Opportunity
- Carrying out all assigned duties in a safe manner, observing all statutory regulations and any local regulations that may be in force.
- Escorting all contractors safely and securely at all times.
- Monitoring and accounting for all contractor tools and items, ensuring what comes into the secure environment, comes out.
- Vigilantly inspecting and maintaining the safety of the prison.
- Effectively communicating via radio/phone/tablets, escalating any issues that arise.
- Identify problems within own area of remit and take responsibility for finding a solution.
- Processing all relevant paperwork to the relevant people.
- Responsible for the external areas of the work zone, carrying out regular inspections.
- Ensure that all paperwork is handed to relevant people.
- Ensure that the work area is always in a safe & secure manner.

Essential Skills
- **Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment history**:

- **SIA Licence**:

- No current criminal convictions
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
- Able and willing to undergo enhanced screening and vetting checks
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Computer literate with high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team, unsupervised and on own initiative
- Organised and able to work with confidential information
