The Greater Manchester Specialist Perinatal Service is a multidisciplinary and well-established team providing a range of tailored approaches to meet the mental health needs of women, birthing people, and their partners and families in the perinatal period.

We are developing our service in line with the ambitions of the Long Term Plan (LTP) and currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Family and Systemic Practitioner to support the team in developing specific couples and family interventions to clients, families referred to our service.

We are looking for people who enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams and who are creative, adaptable, responsive and passionate about working with women, birthing people and their families.

The post offers an incredibly supportive team working environment and opportunities for professional development with additional training being actively encouraged.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- To provide systemic assessment, formulation and intervention to women, birthing people and their famili
- To support and develop systemic thinking with the MDT.
- To provide supervision and consultation to colleagues within the MDT.
- To provide training to MDT and external agencies.
- To develop the offer of couples and family interventions within the service in line with the ambitions of the LTP.
