We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who enjoys working under pressure. The successful applicant will report to the Reception Manager and will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and visitors alike.
The Club Company (UK) Ltd is one of the largest owners and operators of golf and health and fitness clubs in the UK. Castle Royle is currently looking for an experienced Receptionist to help run a demanding operation within our golf and country club. This position includes shifts, early mornings, evenings and weekend work.
Answer incoming calls effectively and forward phone calls to other Club extensions or take messages from callers. Greet customers who are visiting the Club. Schedule appointments for administrative team.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Opens the reception and performs front of house reception duties, welcoming and greeting customers in a polite and cordial manner.
- Answers phone calls, transfers calls to proper extensions; takes messages for members and team; responds to customer enquiries.
- Ensures that customers are properly registered either by tapping cards or signing the guest book.
- Ensures the reception area is tidy, well-presented and clutter-free at all times.
- Working with the Reception Manager, arranges for special guest services and access when required.
- Has thorough knowledge of the provided services and strives to upsell these to member-clients.
- Administers charges and takes full payments, and charges for any extra services provided.
- Addresses customer complaints and advises the Reception Manager about appropriate corrective actions taken.
- Ensures all health and safety policies are upheld in the reception area and is aware of the fire emergency evacuation process.
- Performs general office work or other appropriate tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.
- To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company's dress and appearance policy.
