**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist radiographers in preparing patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Help position patients and equipment under the direction of the radiographer.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
- Manage patient flow and coordinate appointment schedules.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Support infection prevention practices.
- Assist with stock control.
- Escort patients as needed to and from imaging suites.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and data protection at all times.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable to a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office and familiarity with medical software).

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in healthcare or radiology settings.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Healthcare assistant or related certification.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday
- 12-hour shift
- 10-hour shift
- Flexibility is required, based on departmental needs.

**Salary**: £29,000

**Experience**:RDA: 2 years (required)

**Work Location**: In person - Glasgow Centre
