Intacept Security are an SIA Approved Contractor seeking a Security Officer (SIA Licenced) who can have a flexible approach for our customers located in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas.

Shifts can be days, nights and weekends and will mostly be 12 hours 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00.

Rate of pay: £10.42 per hour

Duties include, but are not limited to:
1) Adhere to stated company procedures and policies relating to health and safety, quality management and current legislation as well as handbooks relating to the proper use and care of equipment (PPE and vehicle maintenance) and materials for which the role has responsibility.

2) Comply and understand assignment instructions relevant to the client sites to which you are allocated.

3) Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance by being properly attired and equipped in accordance with your role and the Company standards / instructions.

4) Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, managers and clients - be polite and courteous at all times.

5) Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service to clients.

6) Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between clients, visitors, and relevant staff. Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the telephone and in person, and to verbal or written instructions.

7) Complete data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned.

8) Where required maintain detailed and accurate records of calls received and security duties carried out in the Guard Report Book.

9) Respond to incidents in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements for the role:

- A valid SIA Licence, Excellent written and communication skills, Organised with the ability to work on own initiative, Customer service skills is vital.

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 48 per week
