**About Us**:
CC Ground Investigations are an established site investigation contractor based in Gloucester. We have over 20 years’ experience in delivering successful, high-quality projects of all sizes to a wide variety of clients.

We are looking for a highly motivated person to be a vital member of a geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigation company. Working under the Yard Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the soil and rock samples stores and assist with the day-to-day running of a busy drilling plant and vehicle yard.

**Responsibilities**
- Control the sample storage warehouse - Booking soil and rock samples in and out, organising storage, sample picking, arranging collections and disposal of samples in line with company procedures.
- Ensuring the correct forwarding of samples to testing laboratories.
- Operation of the forklift for loading and unloading & movement of pallets as and when required
- Receive and assist with company deliveries
- Assist with stock checks on drilling equipment and other consumables
- Assisting with the waste management and recycling processes
- General housekeeping of the warehouse, yard and offices
- Gain a good knowledge of our site and technical activities, to assist with the correct storage of soil and rock samples.
- Occasional visits to work sites across the UK with deliveries using company vehicles _(earlier starts and later finishes can be expected - these hours are paid)._
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Yard Manager

**Skills Required**:

- Driver’s License.
- Forklift License - desirable however training can be provided.
- Good organisational skills and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Good communication skills to liaise with line management and field staff.
- Personal motivation, organisation, and self-management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,100.00 per year
