We are seeking a dedicated **Yard Operative** to join our Sittingbourne Depot team. In this role, you will be a key member of the depot, processing instructions from the Depot Supervisor and ensuring all operations meet our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

**What You’ll Do**:
**Equipment Preparation and Documentation**
- Accurately count all equipment loaded onto vehicles, ensuring proper documentation is completed for each load.
- Handle any defective plant or equipment by reporting it immediately for prompt attention.

**Efficient Work Practices**
- Carry out all depot and on-site tasks in line with health and safety regulations, ensuring the work is efficient and mindful of company and customer standards.
- Complete all tasks and targets set by the Depot Manager and Supervisor within the given timeframe.

**Hoarding System Cleaning and Repair**
- Work as part of a small team to cover the entire process, from initial cleaning with a jet wash to final cleaning, part repairs/replacements, support base repainting, and order picking/packing.
- Perform these tasks to a high standard, maintaining an energetic, target-driven approach and ensuring quality control.

**Returns and Quality Assessment**
- Manage returned equipment collections, assessing quality and reporting any damages noted to ensure consistent standards.

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Self-Motivated** with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Physical Capability** to handle the demands of the role.
- **Deadline-Oriented** with a focus on meeting targets.
- **Health and Safety Awareness** to uphold high standards at all times.
- **Forklift Experience** is an advantage.
