Support Worker Waking Night
**Are you looking for night work? Could you support adults with learning disabilities when they are wakeful during the night? No experience necessary.**
We are seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Warrington. You would be supporting the wonderful Sarah*.
Sarah* enjoys colouring and watching Mrs. Brown, also loves people who are fun. She appreciates her conversations with the team about how her day has been.
**About the role**
The people we support each have a learning disability. They've been together for a number of years and have created a real family feel. They love to celebrate all occasions: every day is a party. They are looking for staff to join their team in Warrington supporting them to achieve their ambitions, and creating more opportunities to improve wellbeing.
What they really need, is someone who is available when they are wakeful at night and to check at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day. You will need to provide support with personal care or medication. This is an important role to make sure people feel safe at all times and not vulnerable during the night so this is more about providing an emotional reassurance. Your role would likely include cleaning duties to ensure the home is tidy for the morning.
Another nice feeling is handing over your Blue Light discount card and making savings at the checkout. This is just one of the many ways we like to reward our employees.
