Walker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality Control to join a Gene Therapy company based in South East of England. As the Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading a growing team and commissioning a GMP laboratory.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Quality Control will be:

- Lead, develop and recruit a team of scientists specialising in molecular biology and biochemical assays.
- As the Head of Quality Control, you will oversee all budget and executive responsibilities.
- Ensure all testing is carried out with properly developed, validated and approved methods.
- Work cross functionally with project management and production to support seasonal and periodic increases in workload.
- A key member of the site leadership team.
- Degree, Masters or PhD educated in life sciences.
- Extensive pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cell therapy or gene therapy industry experience.
- Quality Control leadership skills at Manager or Team Leader.
