Are you an adaptable and driven delivery driver, comfortable handling a long wheelbase vehicle? We have a new opportunity to support our Retail team as a Retail Driver, to provide driving, collection, and delivery duties for our group of Saint Michael’s Hospice Shops. As part of this role, you will ensure that stock, including furniture, is safely transported between shops, customers’ homes and other locations, paying attention to health and safety at all times.
Working with the appropriate Retail Manager, you will help to arrange stock in the retail store unit, perform basic maintenance on the retail vehicles, ensuring they are road-worthy and remain clean inside and out, testing of electrical items and carrying out basic maintenance at our retail stores.
You must possess good customer services skills and be confident liaising with customers ensuring they are informed of any delays or changes to collections/deliveries. Knowledge of health and safety and safe lifting techniques is also required.
