**In-House Commercial Lawyer**The forefront of wind energy development in the UK is looking to recruit a Paralegal or newly qualified lawyer with 0-3 PQE with experience in commercial contract and property law. Experience within the renewable energy sector would be a benefit.
The role of the lawyer is critical to ensure the successful running of the business and the individual will liaise across other departments to promote future success. The position is permanent, full time and based at their Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire.
They have over 1GW of renewable energy in their portfolio containing onshore wind farms that are built, under construction and in development. As renewable energy specialists, they are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, constructionand operation of onshore wind energy projects.
**Key Duties**
The daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Drafting, negotiating, and completing Heads of Terms, Option Agreements, Leases, cable and access agreements, rights of access agreements and licences
- Carrying out legal due diligence in respect of land parcels for sites and access thereto
- Assisting the Development Team on development activities and planning matters that arise
- Drafting and negotiating new contracts including supply and service contracts
- Providing advice in relation to commercial contracts such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and grid contracts
- Liaising and managing third party external legal advisors
- Project and corporate finance due diligence
- Ad-hoc job-related tasks as and when requested.

**Skills required**:

- Qualified lawyer 0-3 PQE or paralegal.
- Knowledge of Scottish and UK planning law would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good team player, thorough approach and strong work ethic.

Their projects are located in the UK, therefore a valid and clean driving licence is essential to travel to these locations to attend meetings, and carry out site visits.**Vacancy Information**:
