Practice Bookkeeper

Digivolve Accountants are recruiting for a Senior Practice Bookkeeper to join our small friendly firm of accountants based in Haywards Heath. Due to ongoing growth within the company, we are looking for a Bookkeeper with prior uk practice experience.

As an experienced Bookkeeper you will be performing bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for a combination of bookkeeping and payroll tasks, reporting to the Director.

**Bookkeeping Duties**
- Bookkeeping through to trial balance stage
- Confident reviewing the P&L and Balance sheet
- Competent posting prepayments and accruals
- Preparing management accounts
- Completing CIS returns
- VAT preparation and returns
- Processing clients payroll
- Reconciling sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Keeping clients up to date with their business's performance

**Practice Bookkeeper Requirements**
- 2 years Bookkeeping experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential
- Confident using Xero essential and Quickbooks desirable
- AAT Bookkeeping qualifications or qualified by experience
- You must be within a commutable distance of Haywards Heath.

**Remuneration**
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000 FTE
- Office hours Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm
- Full time, Part time, school hours employed permanent position
