**Arora Group is hiring for experienced Financial Controller -Retail.**

Direct the financial operations of the retail outlets to ensure the security of the retail assets. Report to Group Financial Controller on the financial state of the retail and make recommendations to improve retail profitability. Serve as the primary contactfor all the retail financial and accounting related issues with owners, auditors (internal and external) and regulatory agencies.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Financial Accounting & Control: Lead, manage and perform all accounting duties for effective and smooth running of the retail finance department. Have ultimate responsibility of maintaining all accounting records as per Finance policy. To establish, monitorand mitigate risk by ensuring a robust control environment and personally carrying out checks and assessments with a view to enhance control.
- Management Reporting: Provide timely focussed, innovative and value-adding management reporting and analysis to Group Finance Director, key team members and Central Finance.
- Cost Management: Ensure the cost of sales, payroll and expenses are fully supported and effectively managed with a view to exceed profit expectations. Pursue a culture of spend as you earn and commerciality.
- Cash & Working Capital: Optimise the cash position by ensuring a tight control on the Working Capital environment. Manage cash flow to ensure cash surplus to meet all financial & cost commitments. Effective management of debtors and creditors.
- Business Support & Looking Ahead: Provide support to the hotels management team with a view to add value in all aspects of business operations and ensure decisions get financial considerations.

**Skills and Experiences**
- Must have proven track record in retail accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager position.
- Knowledge of accounting management duties such as negotiating hotel space and tenant leases; processing payroll; performing asset management duties; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns,etc. as needed or requested.
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance preferred.
