Credit Hire Claims Handler

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Claims team based at our Milton Keynes offices as a Motor Claims Handler, specialising in Credit Hire. In order to be considered for this role you will need previous credit hire claims experience.

- Office location
- Milton Keynes
- Up to £30,000 depending on experience
- Plus excellent benefits package
- Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00. No weekend working
- Hybrid Working: You'll be expected to work in the office just 2 days a week the remaining 3 working from home.
- Key Skills Required: Previous Credit Hire claims experience, excellent communication skills, ‘can do’ attitude and ability to multitask.

**The Role**:

The purpose of this role is to support our customers at their time of need whilst providing high level customer service. Day to day you would be responsible for investigating, negotiating and settling claims (predominantly Credit Hire related), whilst ensuring you provide a high standard of customer service. Other responsibilities will include:

- Handling a portfolio of claims proactively within the agreed authority level to deliver a high quality claims service
- Ensuring claims are correctly reserved and are settled in accordance with settlement guidelines
- Handling allocated internal tasks, such as: inactivity and diaries, ensuring that all tasks are dealt with within applicable time limits progressing the claim to a prompt settlement.

**Your Skills & Experience**:

- Previous motor claims experience, including Credit Hire experience
- You will have a 'can do' attitude, flexible approach, passion about doing a good job, the ability to work to daily targets and the ability to demonstrate that you are a team player
- Good organisational skills in order to prioritise a variety of work within your portfolio alongside incoming telephone calls and LIVE CHAT
- Be digitally competent and able to embrace new upcoming technology
- Excellent communication skills required to keep customers updated and offer repair solutions within our network
