Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their busy team on a permanent basis
**Duties include**:
- Responsible for the validation of the output of the hourly employee hourly staff
- Administration of the ad hoc documents received either from 3rd parties or Gov bodies
- Complete Requests for Manual off cycle payments
- Process Advance / Loan deductions
- Administration of Password Reset Requests
- Complete output control checks of hourly payroll in line with the control framework checks
- Provide support to the Hub team with peek processing as requested
- Monthly Administration role is responsible for the data input for Monthly paid salaried employees
- Receive and Input Starters / Leavers / Changes into the payroll system
- Validate Input to source documents as well as right to work and contract completion
- Chase outstanding approvals in the payroll system prior to payroll close
- Collate all ad hoc paper instructions for input via appropriate team members
- 1st Line query support for employees
- Log and Monitor Queries to resolution
- Assign queries to appropriate members if escalated
**You will have**:
- A passion and demonstrable skill for first class, professional customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
- IT proficient (including Excel and Outlook); confident in handling and working with data.
- Ability to organise and prioritise a workload to meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable approach, enabling full support to the team
- Awareness of data privacy and securely handling of employee data.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships within the team and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
