Dispensary Assistant

We are looking for a full time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our St. Peter's Street pharmacy in Derby, Derbyshire.

The hours of this position will be 30 hours per week. The working pattern of this role is Wednesday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm (with 30 minutes dinner break) and Saturdays, 9am to 1pm.

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
- Ideally be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services but training can be provided where required
- Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
- Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
