**Job Summary**

Due to the demands of the role, the successful applicant will have good manual dexterity, be physically fit, literate and numerate, be willing to learn new skills and have good self-organizational, team work and communication skills. A health and safety conscious attitude is essential.

**Duties**
- Safe and effective assembly of product components in line with established designs.
- Cutting glass by hand.
- Loading, programming, firing and emptying kilns.
- Operation of machinery following training and competency review.
- Making products in accordance with given production list priorities.
- Strict observance of health and safety practices and procedures.
- Housekeeping of personal working areas.
- Submission of glass cutting and raw material request lists in line with production requirements.
- Operating within a lead exposure environment and safe use of materials containing hazardous substances.
- Have working knowledge of/be able to create most products within the interiors range following training.
- Kiln maintenance, initially under supervision.
- There will also be a requirement to assist other departments during busy periods.
- Having a good attitude, a proactive approach to safe working and being able to work as a member of a multi-faceted team is key to this role.

**Experience**
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to production tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
