**About the role**
Our innovative thinking shapes our industry; equipping the world for tomorrow’s challenges. Join our Regional Civils team as a **Sub Agent** on our **Devonport Dockyard** project based in Plymouth.

As a **Sub Agent** you will lead and control a section of the works, according to a specific discipline whilst also managing a team of Section Engineers & Site Engineers.

**What you'll be doing**
As a **Sub Agent**you will:

- Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately. Suggests and implements improvements to systems
- Take ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity; experienced at encouraging direct reports to do the same and managing a team to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and key messages cascaded
- Have ability to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
- Hold a current driving license and CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
- Have full understanding of technical requirements and techniques of setting out and coaching of team members.

**Who we're looking for** You will have the following**:

- BSc/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience of NEC forms of contract
- Hold a CSCS/SSSTS Card
- Civil Engineering experience
