Applegreen is the majority shareholder of Welcome Break and therefore our UK teams often work closely on a number of projects.

We are working together to find a new Senior Microsoft Azure Systems Administrator for the Applegreen business. This is a group level role looking after our businesses both in the UK and Ireland as well as the USA.

The role is based in the UK from the Welcome Break head offices in Newport Pagnell.

Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to onboard an induvidual with the skills, experience and dynamism to help deliver projects in a fast-paced retail environment.

**What will your role look like?**

We are looking for a suitably Microsoft qualified and experienced Azure System Administrator to join the Group IT team supporting our regional teams in the ROI, UK and USA

You will help To deliver Applegreen’s mission by maintaining and developing Microsoft Azure & 365 cloud services, Active Directory and related services, Windows server/client infrastructure and IT systems, which Applegreen depends upon to deliver IT servicesto internal and external users.

Focusing on system design, builds and installations.

You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining stable and secure Microsoft Azure & 365 cloud services and on-premises infrastructure by resolving hardware and software issues.
- Hardening, configuration and maintenance of systems and services updating documentation and diagrams.
- Preparing and presenting change/improvement requests to Change Advisory Board.
- Reporting issues where systems are non-functional

**About you**

Ideally we are looking for someone who has:
Hold a relevant Microsoft Azure Administration qualification, and have at least 5 years’ experience as a senior
