**Business Information Security Officer - BISO Digital**

**London, Canary Wharf**

As a Barclays Business Information Security Officer you will deliver the CISO/CSO (Chief Information Security Office) goals and cyber security agenda within the business. You will be responsible for security posture communication, business security awareness, governance and reporting. You will also ensure that each transaction cycle understands and appropriately mitigates and manages risk.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Working within the information and cyber security field, including systems audit, internal controls and / or security consulting
- Implementing or managing risk management processes and tools
- Seeking ways to understand, mitigate or reduce risks, drawing on expert advice, risk assessment, and management reports
- Leading and managing multiple stakeholders within a complex matrix environment across multiple geographies
- Influencing people on other teams to ensure that important initiatives are delivered in a timely fashion
- Reporting the status of our risk exposure and control maturity against the relevant Policies and Standards
- Designing cyber security controls and change initiatives across the business unit, supporting the implementation and adoption of security culture
- Developing information and cyber security SME capability in line with needs and expectations

**What we’re looking for**:

- Knowledge of cyber security risk management with exposure to industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, CSA, PCI DSS, Mitre, OWASP
- Ability to work with Executive committees, senior stakeholders and third party vendors utilising excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Relevant information risk or project management qualifications e.g. CISA, CISSP, PRINCE2
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory environment

- Experience in developing talent within a team, providing not just managerial leadership, but inspiring the staff who are key to the success of this service offering
- Ability to develop information and cyber security SME capability in line with needs and expectations
- Knowledge of cloud principles and security practices to support the digital agenda and evolution of cloud capabilities and delivery mechanisms aligned to DevSecOps

**Where will you be working?**
In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
