We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team as a Housing Concierge. We support our brilliant customers who reside in our larger than average Extra Care Service (yes, we are bragging).

Our community houses 129 purpose-built apartments (which are mixed tenures - all in the same building). Our customers are mostly aged 55+, but this can vary. We offer our customers a high quality living experience with a variety of brilliant facilities, run by our partner organisations. There is a Care team on-site, community wellbeing facilities, a restaurant, separate hair and beauty salons, communal activity room (adaptable to all purposes) as well as landscaped gardens and communal lounges.

As our Housing Concierge you’ll play a really important role in supporting the smooth running of our services. You’ll ensure the safety and securing of our buildings and of our customers, and make sure we get on with our neighbours

You’ll get involved in lots of different activities which will include monitoring CCTV, regularly patrolling the premises, monitoring visitors to and from the building and ensuring tenancy conditions and service rules are adhered to. As our Housing Support Concierge, you’ll also provide out of hours cover being the first point of contact for our clients during the night and at times we’ll also need you to do some general cleaning duties too.

To keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe)

- When you join as a Housing Concierge, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one._

There are 11 of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too

**Working hours**

We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. In this role you’ll work during the twilight hours doing waking nights work. You’ll work on a rota basis and take your turn working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you

Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.
