East West Compass Ltd (Trading as Compass) is a part of East West Connect Group and created for the purpose of delivering the Peabody Reactive and potentially planned works streams Contract but the with the long term goal of providing reactive and planned maintenance services for social housing clients throughout London and the South East of England
East West Compass’s primary focus is on building its reputation for high quality service and excellent customer support - to be reliable, easy to deal with and empathetic in all aspects of our service delivery.
**PURPOSE OF ROLE**
To provide high quality, professional supervision to the reactive repairs business.
To work closely with other supervisors, planning team and management team to provide a high-quality safe and professional multi-site-based repairs service.
Ensure the highest level of customer focus and service is delivered to our customers continuously.
**MAIN DUTIES**
- Provide Inductions for Operatives and Subcontractor staff and record induction paperwork.
- Carry out regular Van checks and record and flag any damage through the vehicle accident reporting procedures. Deal with any cases where operatives have not followed the process and flagged the damage.
- Understand and enforce the repairs processes for Operatives especially in relation to material ordering and WIP management/FOW appointments.
- Carry out regular TBT's and record for Audit purposes. Work with the management team and Input into future TBT schedule
- Make sure Operatives complete or attend and H+Scourses as requested
- Carry out any accident investigations in a timely manner
- Review ON site and Offsite times for all Ops and flag any action any HR concerns
- Review productivity of Operatives and flag concerns to senior management team with examples and book in targeted inspections
- Check Rams are in place for all works undertaken and flag any concerns about competency of operatives to undertake any other works.
- Carry out workplace inspections for WIP and Post work completions.
- Visit complaint jobs and difficult/complex repairs and provide detailed specifications for outstanding works
- Provide technical support to office and operatives.
- To show the highest level of respect and courtesy at all times to all stakeholders
- Present yourself in company clothing, PPE as supplied and with clean and clear I.D
- Deliver a professional and high-quality repair and lead by example on every occasion
- Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and good practice without exception
- Use PDA device to record all activities associated with each job
- Ensure notes and photos are of high quality and match the work undertaken
- To report Follow-on works to the planning team and arrange a follow -on appointment before leaving site
- To consistently achieve a minimum First Time Fix rate of at least 85%
- Always keep your van clean and presentable both inside and outside
- Report any defects on the vehicle to fleet and report all accidents immediately
- Submit weekly, monthly reports as requested
- Attend all invited meetings without exception
- Willingness to work additional hours on occasion and cover the call-out rota when requested
- Undertake any other duties in line with the role
**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
- Out

- The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all contacts both internally and externally
- Maintain a professional representation of the team
- Experience of working in a responsive repair environment
- Experience of delivering reactive repairs in a customer focused environment
- Have a good understanding of value for money in terms of the most cost-effective way to deliver repairs
- The ability to strategically plan and organise workloads
- A proactive / can do approach to work
- The ability to work on own initiative and take full ownership of role and responsibility
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently
- The ability to follow process and work in a fast -paced setting whilst remaining calm and focused
- Own a full tool kit to suit the tasks that you are likely to encounter
- Be able to maintain a professional representation of the team
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London N14: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
