**Estates Surveyor**

**Location**:Southern England

**Duration**:Perm (full-time)

**Salary**: £ 41 650 per annum

**Purpose of the role**

The Estates Surveyor will be responsible for the direct management of one region of the British Red Cross property portfolio, instructing and managing agency surveyors and solicitors acting on all acquisitions and disposals in the region as well as negotiating all rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears directly with landlords or their appointed surveyors.

The role will be the lead contact for all Estates matters within their region, seeking the minimise costs and maximise returns across their area of the property portfolio.

**Are you a commercial qualified Chartered Surveyor who is passionate about estate management?**

**This role could be for you if**

You hold a qualification in Surveying e.g., MRICS, or qualified by experience

You have working knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Law as well as knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

You have the natural ability to negotiate with all levels of external stakeholders including landlords, professional appointed surveyors and solicitors.

You are passionate about managing and prioritising workloads and transactions across a multi-site portfolio.

You have working expertise in the use of Microsoft 365

You have a full UK driving licence

Please note, the role covers properties across a broad region of the UK and will require a readiness to travel and work outside normal hours as necessary
