**Your role**

We are currently recruiting for a Weekend Shift Supervisor (3 day week) based at our Donaghmore Hatchery.

The hours of work are Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12 Noon
- 12pm.

The job is performed mainly in a comfortable hatchery environment (16oC +) and involves extensive periods standing. The employee is required to operate effectively; processing, packing, boxing, labelling and counting product as required. It is imperative that the employee is aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them. The Supervisor is required to oversee that the hatchery operatives effectively carry out manual tasks and chick sexing with due attention to welfare and quality.

**What you’ll need**
- Must be literate and numerate.

- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Must have a positive attitude to work and others
- Good manual dexterity is essential.
- Proficient level of English is essential to include speaking, reading & writing
- Good time keeping is essential
- Basic Computer literacy is beneficial
- Previous supervisory/people management experience is desirable.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- The ability to work on own initiative is essential
- The ability to organise and prioritise work is essential
- Ability to solve problems essential
- Mechanical aptitude essential
- Positive attitude to work and others is essential.
- Able to undertake responsibility essential
