This property is adjoined to Grove Gardens Studios and comprises of six one-bedroom flats and 8 studio flats. They are home to 14 male and female residents between the ages of 24 and 55, and the individuals living within the service attend a range of day services and community opportunities. **What You will Do**: As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Aid with the daily administration of medication - Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way - Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting - Organise trips to local amenities - Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals - Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing **As an Assistant Support Worker you will;** - Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence. - Provide personal care but your role will also involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
