**Job Title**: IT Manager

**Location**:Scarborough

**Salary**:£45,000-£50,000 per year.

**Job type**:Full Time - Permanent. 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working role with at least 2 days at home.

**The Role**:
At Dale Power Solutions, we rely on our IT systems to 'power the solutions' that drives the business functions and objectives.

We're seeking an experienced IT manager who can join us on this journey, using their technological skills to make us more efficient. In this role, you will lead and motivate the IT team to deliver against key business objectives. You will also own key projectsaround IT solutions and systems upgrades. From day one you will have an immediate impact on the efficiency on our IT Operations.

**Duties & Requirements**:

- Leading and motivating the IT team to deliver on key business objectives, prioritising workloads for team members.
- Owning projects, solutions, and key responsibilities of critical business systems such as ERP/MRP, Field Service, CRM, HR, Accounts, Document Management, communication systems, Office365, bespoke mobile solutions within a larger business initiative.
- Handling business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
- Supporting business departments and colleagues; creating reports, and customisations that support their department and business needs.
- Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
- Tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory.
- Managing IT vendors, suppliers, contractors, contracts and licensing.
- Analysing department needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency and accuracy to inform business decisions.
- Ensuring network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
- Continuously analysing current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement.
- Preparing and managing annual IT budget and capital expenditure.
- Preparing business case/cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analysing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs.
- Training employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
- Developing and executing disaster procedures, maintain data backups, IT policies and procedures.

**Essential Requirements**:
Experience & Knowledge -- 5+ years' experience in an IT management role.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems).
- Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions.
- Experience operating in an SME environment.
- Experience in project delivery.

- Ability to produce and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Good organisational skills, time management and ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet targets and deadlines.
