Apprentify and The Juice Academy are hiring on behalf of our client.
St Mary’s Hospice provides care and comfort for patients living with any life-shortening illness or long term condition and their family. We support people from the moment of diagnosis and their familiar for longer.
As a Fundraising Apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training and mentorship while working closely with our fundraising team, included events, community, corporate and individual giving fundraiser. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop key skills in donor stewardship, events, planning and administration You will play a vital role in supporting fundraising reach their targets and help St Mary’s raise the income required to ensure we can deliver our care to our community.
**Skills Required**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Can work across several projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital fundraising methods
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or fundraising work is beneficial

Entry requirements
Minimum of grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English (evidencable).
Strong level of communication.
Understanding of numbers and data for analysis.
Drivers license.
Training to be provided
The Juice Academy is an industry-led apprenticeship programme. They are partnered with industry professionals to deliver the Fundraiser Level 3. Apprentices work on the job within a charity whilst receiving 20% off the job training. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning (20%) and online delivery (80%) via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices go through an End Point Assessment. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.
