We are looking for an additional team leader to join our Established Therapy Administration Team, providing leadership and support to Therapy, Dietetic, Mobility and Psychology Services ( in-patient, out-patient) and community services in a range of settings ( Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven and Bingley. )

The administrators in each service area support the functioning of the team/s as well as supporting the service managers. Most services are provided Monday to Friday but there is need in some teams to cover evenings and weekends.

The successful applicant will provide project and business support to Therapy Admin team as well as the wider Therapy Management Team. The role will also include provide Senior leadership across the whole of the Therapy Admin team.

The post holder will work collaboratively with the Therapy Admin Manager and the wider Therapy Management Team to provide Project and Business support in a range of areas;
Service development and improvement projects

Continued support with development of SystmOne/Elms/ Clinicsmart.
Service coordination
Quality and Safety management
Performance and Business information management
Therapy Admin Team leadership and Line management.

Provide project coordination and leadership for a range of delegated projects as agreed with the Therapy Management team.

Provide day to day line management of administrative staff and provide peer support for the wider Therapy Admin team, deputising in Therapy Admin Service Manager’s absence as and when required.

Ensure effective working relationships and communications are maintained to ensure effective service and project delivery.

Ensure that projects/delegated pieces of work are delivered to agreed timescales and report any delays to Therapy Admin Service Manager.

Conduct and maintain records of personal development reviews for administration staff and identify training and development objectives.

Undertake appropriate training and development in order to develop professionally and for the future development of the service.

Coordinate the day to day work flow and oversee workload systems across the service ensuring work is prioritised and delivered within agreed deadlines and targets and report any concerns to Therapy Admin Service Manager.

Assist with the organisation of administration staff rotas ensuring there is appropriate, efficient and effective cover for all areas.

Advise on the appropriate systems and processes that need to be implemented to ensure effective and efficient administrative functions

Act in accordance with the requirement of the Caldicott Report, the Data Protection Act, and Access to Health Records Act and subsequent legislation issued in relation to confidential data.
