As a Content Writer for Bid Writing, you will play a crucial role in leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline the proposal creation process. You will collaborate with super users to fine-tune and customise AI-generated content for bid writing along with using your traditional copywriting skills, ensuring that it aligns perfectly with the requirements of each specific bid. Additionally, you will assist in creating marketing content that promotes our services and technology to a wider audience.

Reporting directly to our Bid Manager, you will contribute to our continuous improvement efforts and help us secure new projects that align with our vision of delivering exceptional construction solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Utilise AI Tools**: Utilise AI-based content generation tools to create initial draft responses for bids and proposals.
- ** Content Customisation**: Customise AI-generated and traditional copywriting to ensure that responses are uniquely suited to the specific requirements of each bid. Utilise your writing expertise to craft responses that align seamlessly with the individual specifications of each proposal.
- ** Quality Assurance**: Perform thorough quality assurance checks to ensure all responses are accurate, well-structured, and free from errors.
- ** Research and Analysis**: Conduct in-depth research to stay informed about industry trends, market insights, and client preferences to enhance proposal content.
- ** Collaboration**: Collaborate with teams to gather information and insights needed for proposal responses.
- ** Document Best Practices**: Maintain a repository of best practices, templates, and guidelines for bid writing and proposal creation.
- ** Assist Marketing**: Support the marketing team in creating content, including blog posts, whitepapers, and social media content, to promote our services to a wider audience.
- ** Client Communication**: Act as a liaison between the client and our AI tools, ensuring that client feedback is used to improve the AI's capabilities

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a bid/content writer or similar role.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Poses proficient writing skills, demonstrating a command of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Excel in crafting clear and compelling content, with a focus on editorial and PR writing, which differs from shorter social media or SEO-focused content.
- Effective time and project management skills are essential to meet deadlines and manage multiple content-related projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional proofreading and editing abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality proposals and creative skills.
- Proficient in conducting research and synthesising information from various sources.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
- English journalism or communications degree would be beneficial but not essential.
