**A wedding coordinator position has arisen within a stunning Suffolk wedding venue. The role is an integral position with the emphasis in developing excellent relationships and explicit attention to detail. From liaising, planning, managing and organising to ensuring the perfect delivery of a magical day.**
**The role requires an efficient nature with a friendly and welcoming manner.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To be deal with incoming enquiries
- To invite prospective wedding couples and bridal parties to view the venue
- An aptitude for influencing and persuading others
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to trace enquiries/prospective sales and conclude positively
- Liaising with wedding couples and bridal parties to discuss their requirements and the fulfilment of such requirements
- Liaising with the Head Chef, Front of House Manager/team and external suppliers regarding requirements and timings
- Full attention to detail in terms of administrative processes relating to each wedding/associated event
- Arrange planning meetings to include, but not limited to; menu tastings, meetings and rehearsals
- Ensuring that invoices are issued/payments are made within the required timescales
- Researching new products, services and suppliers and remaining abreast of trends
- To proactively promote and sell the wedding venue and also the associated additional opportunities
- To be present on the day of each wedding and be the initial point of contact
- To conduct pre-wedding briefings
- To issue post-wedding communication
- To provide a pivotal role in staging wedding open days
- To have strong communication skills
- Effective organiser with time management skills and being able to manage their diary effectively and multiple weddings and events
- A creative approach
- Adaptability - including the ability to change approach when situations change
- Flexibility - including willingness to do longer hours on some days

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Previous experience desirable
Hours of work: 40 hours per week over 7 days (maternity cover)
