CK Group are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to work within Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) on a 12 month contract basis. The role has been determined as Outside IR35, so working options of Ltd company, Umbrella or PAYE are all available. Therole is remote based, but with travel required across the UK & Ireland.

**About the role**:

- Leading the development and delivery of the local Medical Strategy and Medical Plan for the product
- Implementing the local Medical/Non-Promotional Plan (accountable for all Plan outcomes and budget)
- Leadership of the disease area external collaboration and engagement plan e.g. implementation of the key opinion leader (KOL) advice-seeking plan, including advisory boards
- Providing relevant medical education and training for HCPs
- Leadership of the investigator initiated study (IIS) program and oversight of ongoing studies
- Providing strategic medical review (and approval if appropriate) for promotional & non-promotional materials and communications
- Preparation of the activity and budget submission to the global programme annually.
- Lead/support the local evidence generation program in collaboration with our Market Access function
- Support cross-functional activities with a focus on ‘high-medical value’ products/services and support appropriate adoption of innovative technologies within clinical practice and patient pathways
- Providing Medical input into regulatory or diagnostic assessment submissions
- Horizon scanning - evaluating the potential Medical benefit or value of new diagnostic technologies/interventions

**Person Specification**:

- Relevant science-based Masters/PhD or MBBS/MD essential
- Prior experience working within Medical Affairs in the diagnostic or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
- Prior experience of project management highly desirable
- Prior experience of KOL interaction (e.g. educational events, advisory boards etc.) desirable
- Knowledge of the development and implementation of clinical trials, including data analysis and interpretation preferred
- Knowledge of the regulatory process and associated governance of diagnostic technologies preferred
- Experience of working in a cross-functional / matrix team setting in collaboration with other functional partners desirable
- Prior experience working in HCC desirable
