We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Outreach Support Workers to join our team and make a significant difference in the lives of children in need. The role is based in DH7.

Position Overview: As an Outreach Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support and guidance to children, particularly a 9-year-old male with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties, as well as a 10-year-old male with Autism and Learning Disabilities. Your primary responsibility will involve building relationships, offering tailored emotional support, and empowering these children to navigate their circumstances positively.

**This role is 11 hours a week with a possibility of additional hours.**

Key Responsibilities:
Engage closely with children, establishing a supportive and trusting relationship that considers their unique needs.

Provide personalized and practical support to address the challenges associated with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.

Organize and facilitate activities tailored to their interests and capabilities, promoting social interaction and personal development.

Maintain accurate records and reports documenting the children's development and the interventions provided.

Qualifications and Skills:
Genuine passion and experience in working with children with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.

Previous experience in a similar role or relevant background in special education, behavioural support, or youth services.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with children and their families, understanding and responding to their unique needs.

Empathy, patience, and resilience in handling challenging situations, adapting strategies to suit individual requirements.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, engaging effectively with various stakeholders.

Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and relevant support strategies is highly advantageous.

A valid driver's license and access to transportation may be required for outreach activities.
