Role Overview:
As an Operations Team Member, you will be crucial in managing and executing time-sensitive logistics operations. Based in Heathrow, you will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient coordination of shipments, meet critical deadlines, and maintain exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- AOG and Time-Critical Operations: Manage and coordinate urgent shipments, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer requirements.
- Client Liaison: Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any operational issues promptly.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation planning, routing, and carrier management to optimise delivery efficiency.
- Problem Solving: Handle challenges in real-time, ensuring mínimal disruptions and quick resolution of issues.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, including shipment details, customs documentation, and operational reports.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
**Requirements**:
- Experience: Proven experience in logistics, preferably in time-critical or aerospace/AOG operations.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics software and systems is advantageous.
- Availability: Flexibility to respond to occasional out-of-hours requirements in a time-critical environment.
