**Design Performance & Support Officer**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Performance & Support Officer to join us at Airband.

**The Role**:
The primary responsibility of the Design Performance & Support Officer role will be to provide support and assistance to the Head of Design in the successful delivery of fibre design work and reporting. You will also manage a small team of Design Support Administrators. The role will take responsibility and ownership for co-ordinating specific activities which could include but not be limited to, Fibre design tool Weezie Fibre, document management, KPI reporting, control and planning, risk, and status reporting as well as the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Knowledge of project management tools and methodology as well as excellent organisational skills are fundamental, as is being a self-starter, the ability to liaise with people at all levels. In Airband's fast paced environment, agility and creativity is key.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- You will provide support to the Head of Design and wider Design team and manage the internal design team tracker and reporting suites, ensuring that activity is accurately captured, up to date at all times and reported.
- You will work closely with the wider design team including team leaders, surveyors, the wayleave team, design assurance and design partner manager along with wider business stakeholders to help plan and manage the pipeline of activities, prepare work packages to handover to the design partner manager and provide key support person to the Head of Design.
- You will directly line manage a small team of Design Support Administrators who undertake land and utility searches and carry out desktop surveys for fibre cabinet placement.
- You will allocate work tasks to team members in accordance with the internal design team tracker and monitor performance and quality.
- Create information dashboards to improve programme operational performance.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of reports on design status, risk management, timelines, and budgets.
- Participate in the collation and maintenance of forward forecast and actual tracking to meet design / Airband's KPI's.
- Provide timely and helpful information to the Head of Design and wider team.
- Documentation of all key decisions and assumptions.
- Analyse program & project data, including project schedules, risks, and resource allocation.
- Provide administrative back-end support to our fibre design tool Weezie Fibre.
**Essential Requirements**
- Previous experience in a project coordinator or project support role.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to work at pace in a rapidly changing environment.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Great communicator with the ability to effectively liaise at all levels within the business.
- Meticulous eye for and attention to detail.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for tasks and actions.
