We are looking to recruit a trainee **Office Junior**who will **after training** be responsible for the daily running of the company supply chain and purchasing activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt of goods to enable successful sales and service levels. This role is pivotal for interacting with otherdepartments to resolve issues quickly while pro-actively forward planning from a stock and supply perspective.

Experience can be within a customer service or retail background; we are looking for a desire to progress and learn.

**Duties**:

- Raising purchase orders
- Sourcing new products and retrieving data from suppliers for customer requests
- Resolving any issues with suppliers including product, performance and invoicing issues
- Processing the return of goods back to suppliers
- Assisting management in cost saving and efficiency initiatives
- Assisting with any ad-hoc project work
- Taking ownership of product categories and/or suppliers to achieve growth/service targets

**Experience**:

- Good communication skills
- Ability to be a team player able to embrace and adapt to change
- Keen to take on responsibilities and work on their personal progression
- Good IT skills
- Enjoys a fast-paced working environment where you can learn daily and progress quickly.
- Action orientation and a proactive approach to the completion of tasks and projects
