Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) is one of the UK’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. The unique feature about IFA is the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw materialto the finished product in one location. Operating from a 680 000ft2 facility in Sheffield, we manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one supplierswithin the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine as well as oil and gas sector.

Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Hirework Manager, you will perform a dual role within the department dealing with customer enquiries and quotations as well as production administration.

Key Accountabilities
- Generation of business through the conversion of enquiries into order.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Development of key accounts and customer partnerships.
- Achieving and exceeding sales and departmental targets.
- Promoting the company’s profile in the marketplace.
- Maintaining quality requirements.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Great experience in customer service.
- Pro-active and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Effective organisational and planning skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic IT skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- 5 GCSE’s above C, including math and English.
